why still no solution for Project IC?
Najib, you are doomed when 1m illegals from Phillippine given project IC want to pull out Sabah from Malaysia.
Jamalul Alam was the Sultan who signed the “lease” agreement to parts of Sabah with Baron Von Overbeck and Alfred Dent on 22 January, 1878 in Sulu. Khudar claims that he has the Sabah grant in his possession and pledged to hand it over to the Sabah Government on August 8 next year, the birthday of his late father, when he plans to declare an independent monarchy in the southern Philippines called Sulu Darul Jambangan.
He pledged to liberate his one million countrymen in Sabah, who have MyKads, through the independent monarchy. “I am sad how my countrymen in Sabah are treated like ‘toilets’ by the politicians who only want their votes,” he charged. “I am sorry but this is the truth.”
“Each time there’s an election, some parties insult my people, while others just want their votes. After the elections, they are forgotten.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad defended today his controversial citizenship award to Sabah’s illegal immigrants, arguing that the decision dubbed “Projek IC” was on humanitarian grounds.
The man who helmed the government for 22 years before quitting office insisted that Malaysia was not like Myanmar whose Rohingya people have been left to die at sea in their bid to escape state-sanctioned discrimination.
"We're not like the Burmese," Dr Mahathir replied to a question from the daughter of the late Datuk Arif Salleh, the first Keningau MP in Sabah, during a question-and-answer session at the Cooler Lumpur Festival here .
"People who live there for 800 years are expelled, said to be non-Burmese, now left to die at sea. Do you want to treat people in Sabah like that?" he added.
Dr Mahathir also pointed out that Malaysia's first prime minister Tunku Abdul Rahman had given citizenships to immigrants from China and India after the country became independent in 1957.
The Sabah Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) concluded last December that the controversial “Projek IC”, in which citizenship was allegedly awarded to illegal immigrants in Sabah in exchange for their votes in elections, may have existed based on witness testimony.
“Projek IC” is said to be responsible for the abnormal spike in Sabah’s population, where foreigners comprise nearly 30 per cent of the state’s 3.12 million-strong populace.
Dr Mahathir, who was in power from 1981 to 2003, has been repeatedly named as the man who spurred the initiative.
The Kedah-born said today that the immigrants in Sabah were given Malaysian citizenship during his time in office because they had been living there for over 30 years and they spoke the Malay language, but their children were still unable to go to school.
“That’s not right...The way to treat people who settle down over time until they blend in the local scene is to accept them. We accepted Chinese, Indians, Pakistanis, Arabs,” Dr Mahathir added.

fake report?
Who do we want to believe when the final report was the original copy according to the Secretary of RCIIIS? when we go through the report albeit much delayed when the Chairman handed over to the Government/YDP Agong in May 2014, but the Report came out on 3rd December, 2014 with all praise by Ali Hamsa. Going through the Report of 368 pages, it is "fake" and Agong giving us a "fake" report. So you can imagine why May to December when the printing could be done within weeks. Actually RCI report cannot hide much if you compare the daily notes in the mass media. Everyone now knows the BN/UMNO deep into illegalities. Now with two committees are all wayang-wayang because no action can be taken without complicity and complications. We are going into turmoil sooner or later.

why the security assets failed to detect them coming in ?
Probe into how Sabah abductions occurred near security area
KUALA LUMPUR: A government probe is underway to determine how the recent armed kidnapping in Sabah could happen with the presence of security forces near the area, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim.
“The question is how this can happen near an area which is only 30 minutes away from the command of the navy, marine police and the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
“The outcome of the investigation will be disclosed to the public,” he said when winding up a debate on a motion pertaining to the kidnapping issue in Sabah at the Dewan Rakyat here yesterday on Wednesday, 20 May.
The motion, tabled by Datuk Raime Unggi (BN-Tenom), sought, among, others, solutions and effective approaches to address the issue for the safety of the people of Sabah.
The motion was debated by four members of the august house, namely Datuk Bung Mokhtar Radin (BN-Kinabatangan), Wong Tien Fatt (DAP-Sandakan), Datuk Dr Makin@Marcus Mojigoh (BN-Putatan) and Datuk Madius Tangau (BN-Tuaran) who openly voiced their dissatisfaction on security, especially in the east coast of Sabah.
Among the issues raised, were placement of additional security assets in waters off Sabah since the government had approved an allocation of RM660 million in the 2015 budget for the purpose.
They also felt that the government should take more aggressive and offensive measures through regional and international cooperation, including with the Philippines.
Bung Moktar and Wong urged the government to increase the number of assets, like helicopters and sophisticated radar, while Madius wanted the government to improve the intelligence aspect and monitoring at entry points along the border to prevent repeated episodes of kidnapping in the country.
Last Thursday, May 14, four armed and masked men stormed into the Ocean King restaurant in Sandakan at 7.45 pm and abducted a local female and a customer from Sarawak.
The victims are Thien Nyuk Fun, 50, who is the sister-in-law of the restaurant manager, and Bernard Then Ted Fen, 39, from Sarawak, who worked as an electrical consultant in Cambodia.
They are reported to be in one of the islands off the coast of the Philippines.

Rectify the wild statements made to RCI

Kota Kinabalu: Former Chief Minister Tan Sri Harris Salleh called on Technical Committee on Management of Foreigners in Sabah Chairman, Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, to recall witnesses claiming the existence of "Projek IC" during the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) hearing.
"Tan Sri Chairman in order to clear once for all as to the truth of these wild statements made by witnesses who were sworn to tell the truth, it is very important that your committee recall these witnesses and ask them to produce evidences and proof of their statements.
"If they cannot provide them, they had committed perjury. Your committee should then recommend for their persecution for perjury," he said in an open letter to Pairin here dated May 17, that was made available to Daily Express.
Harris said the Report of the Royal Commission as reported in the press neither made any recommendations nor pointed out any wrong doings or irregularities on the issue of illegal immigrants in Sabah.
"It would seem that the Commission simply listened to anyone who appeared before it just for the sake of making statements. Therefore a large number of the statements to the Commission that were included in the reports were wild.
"These wild statements were never substantiated by the witnesses, despite the fact that these so-called witnesses were asked to take an oath before the Commission which has the same power as the court.
"Unfortunately, it would appear that the Commission did not follow the normal practice of requiring proof for claims and statements that were made," he said, adding that the wild statements contained in the report and quoted from time to time by Sabah leaders were dangerous and frightening to ordinary Sabahans.
Harris said since these statements were included in the Report, the majority of Sabahans take them for granted as true, especially as the witnesses took the oath to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Among them, he said, was an ex-banker who claimed he master-minded the "Project IC" and gave the idea to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who was then the Prime Minister.
However, the Commission never asked the witness to substantiate their claims by asking questions such as: i. Did you organise the Project IC? ii. When did you propose the idea to Tun Mahathir? iii. Are you sure Tun Mahathir needed advice from someone like you if he intended to grant citizenship to those who were qualified then? iv. Where was your office in Sabah at that point of time? v. You claimed that you were ex-banker; which bank did you work for? What was the reason you left the bank? Harris said Hassanar Ibrahim from Sandakan had claimed that he was given 32,000 application forms by the late Dato' Megat Junid.
But, he said Hassanar was never asked to substantiate his claims on questions such as: i. Where did the late Dato' Megat (the late then Deputy Home Minister) give you the forms – at his office? At his house? Where? ii. How many kilos or tonnes did the 32,000 forms weigh? iii. How did you transport the forms from Dato Megat's office or his house to the airport? iv. Who paid for the transport and freight charges of the forms? v. Did you declare the forms to the Customs at Kota Kinabalu Airport? vi.Where did you keep the 32,000 forms in Kota Kinabalu? vii. How did you distribute the forms to those required to fill them? viii. How many forms were filled and submitted to the authorities? vix. Were you aware that before making statements you were asked take an oath to tell the truth? x. Were you detained under the ISA in the late 1980s? Is it true you were detained for selling fake ICs?
Harris said Dr Chong Eng Leong claimed that a witness stated that over 750,000 late registrations were issued and most of these were from the interior.
"By any standard or record this figure is definitely not true – the most is around 70,000 even with the Honorable Chief Justice of Borneo organising a team to help the people of the interior to apply for late registration of birth certificate.
"It would appear that Dr Chong was never asked by the Commission to provide the proof; neither was the National Registration Department called to confirm or negate the claim," he said.
Harris said there was also a statement made to the Commission by a senior police officer from Kuala Lumpur that he knew there were over 30,000 Identity Cards issued to illegals."Again the Commission apparently did not ask for the proof or cross-examine the witness on his sworn statements," he said.
There were also wild statements made by both the Sandakan and Tawau Municipality Presidents that 40 per cent of the people in their municipalities were foreigners.
"Their figures must have included those who are ethnically 'Suluks' and 'Bajaus'; today, even Sabahans whose forefathers were 'Pakistanis' would probably be included as foreigners.
"Unfortunately these two Presidents were never asked to substantiate their claims; because they are like 'Governors' in the districts, their unproven statements carry weight and taken as true."
Harris said there were many other wild statements, which the Commission simply listened to, recorded, and included in their Report without verifying the truths of such statements. At the same time, he said the Malays were generally disappointed with two prominent Malay members (Datuk Dr Kamaruzaman Ampon, former Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; and Tan Sri KY Mustafa, former Sabah State Secretary) who were supposed to represent the Malay interest.
"Based on newspaper reports, these two Malay members of the Commission neither spoke nor asked questions during the year-long hearing, particularly to those witnesses who made wild statements against the interest of the Malays," he said.
In his letter, Harris said Pairin is the only hope to correct these wild statements.
"You have the authority to dig for the truth and we hope you will make full use of it to clear the air of uncertainty that lingers.
"Without any corrections on the proof or otherwise, Sabahans will still believe that anything written or recorded by the Royal Commission on illegal immigrants are true and thus they will continue to harbour fears and uncertainties.
"I share the faith of my fellow Sabahans that you will not let us down," he said.

Countrymen made money from visas, Pakistanis tell court
Countrymen made money from visas, Pakistanis tell court
Published on: Thursday, April 23, 2015
Daily Express
Kota Kinabalu: Two Pakistanis on Wednesday told the court that the "middlemen" who helped them obtain Multiple Entry Visas and a long-term social visit passes with fake details, were actually their countrymen who had stayed in the State for a long time.
Shamsul Alam Habib Rasool, 30, and Afzal Khan Mirasan Khan, 25, who maintained their guilt in using the documents as genuine papers when they knew the particulars were fake, told Sessions Court Judge Dato Ishak Bakri that the middlemen offered to help them obtain the documents but asked them to pay RM3,100 and RM14,000, respectively.
Two of these middlemen were identified as Wakil Khan Waris Khan and one Farzan.
Shamsul who claimed he had married a local woman in Keningau, was jailed 16 months while Afzal was sentenced to eight months and after completing their jail sentences, were ordered referred to the Immigration Department.
Afzal had used the Multiple Entry Visa which was issued by the Lahad Datu Immigration Department with false details in relation to his wife, one Sharwaty Samporang, who he was actually not married to.
He was found using the document at the temporary detention centre in Papar on Feb 4 this year.
Meanwhile, Shamsul was found using a long-term social visit pass with false information on one Manisah Sabal, who was actually not his wife, at 11am on Oct 14, 2014, here.
They obtained the visa and social visit pass through a syndicate, using the particulars of women to whom they were not actually married, in their application forms.
Earlier, during mitigation, Shamsul told Ishak that a Pakistani who he knew, one Wakil Khan Waris Khan had helped him obtain the long-term social visit pass and that he paid Wakil RM14,000.
He also told the court when he got his document, he was surprised when he saw the particulars of a woman who he did not know and was angry with Wakil.
Shamsul said Wakil who had stayed in the State for 15 years had cheated him and also other Pakistanis who used Wakil as their middleman to obtain their visas with fake particulars regarding their wives.
Shamsul who claimed he obtained the visa before he married one Nurchaya, said he had come to Sabah earlier, met her and returned to marry her, after having worked at Taiping, Perak for two years.
He was on Sept 24, 2014 jailed a month for causing hurt to his wife.
Meanwhile, Afzal who has a fiancée in his country informed the court he obtained his visa through a Pakistani, one Fazan, for RM3,100.
According to Afzal, he did not know that the particulars on his visa were fake and, therefore, it was not his fault.
Afzal who worked as shop assistant in Sri Maju, Sepanggar said he was never arrested before this and freely went in and out of the State.
He hoped the court would send him back to Pakistan.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Prosecuting Officer, Awang Shamsul Baharom Bongsu who was assisted by Michael Joimin said Afzal had been earlier sentenced to 10 months' jail for a Customs offence.
On Feb 26 and 27 this year, five Pakistanis were sentenced to three months' jail and fined RM10,000 in default a month's jail after they admitted to a similar charge.
However, Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak Tan Sri Richard Malanjum enhanced the sentence of the five Pakistanis from three months' jail to 18 months when the sentence imposed by the Sessions Court was revised.
Three of the five were also were jailed a year each for getting visas after making false statements to stay in the State and having obtained the said documents without going through proper procedure.
So far about seven Pakistanis have been brought to court in connection with the said scam and more are expected to be brought to court in Sandakan, Tawau and Lahad Datu.
