227. The "traitor" at work

Dr Mahathir: Saya beri kerakyatan ikut undang-undang
January 17, 2013
Beliau berkata, rakyat asing berhak mendapat kerakyatan sekiranya memenuhi syarat ditetapkan.
“Ya saya memang buat (beri kad pengenalan), tetapi mengikut undang-undang,” katanya.

225. RCI report to be out???

RCI report to be made public

Posted on October 6, 2014, Monday
KOTA KINABALU: The findings of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the illegal immigration issue in Sabah will be made public after it is tabled in the Parliament which it begins its next sitting next week.
Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan yesterday said that the exact date of the tabling would depend on the Speaker.
Rahman Dahlan added the Cabinet had discussed the report which would be made public.
“The Cabinet has discussed about it, I understand that it will be presented to Parliament in this session,” he said at a forum here on Saturday.
The five-man panel of the RCI headed by Tan Sri Steve Shim had submitted the report to the King and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in early January.
The setting up of the RCI was announced by the Prime Minister in August 2012.
The other commissioners were former Sabah Attorney-General Tan Sri Herman J. Luping, Universiti Malaysia Sabah former vice-chancellor Professor Datuk Dr Kamaruzaman Ampon, former Sabah state secretary Datuk K.Y. Mustafa and Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation deputy chairman Datuk Henry Chin Poy Wu.
The inquiry began on September 21, 2012 and covered eight terms of reference, including investigating the number of foreigners who were issued Malaysian identity cards, whether the issuance was in accordance with the law, whether they had been registered in the Sabah electoral roll and the social implications of the foreigners.
It was given six months (subsequently extended until September 20) to complete the investigation and submit a full report, plus recommendations.
The RCI heard testimonies from 211 witnesses.
Meanwhile, Penampang member of parliament Darell Leiking welcomed the annoucement by Rahman Dahlan.
“It’s long overdue. I am thankful that Rahman Dahlan is equally concerned as a Sabahan,” said the PKR politician who had also attended the forum with Rahman Dahlan.
Politicians from across the divide had called for the report to be published, with many MPs, including those from West Malaysia, having submitted questions to the Parliament asking as to why it had not been made public.

Jeffrey denies 'sharing Sabah with Sulu Sultanate' claim
Published on: Tuesday, September 23, 2014

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Star President Datuk Jeffrey Kitingan denied an accusation levelled against him that he would consider sharing Sabah with the Sulu Sultanate.
The article which appeared on a blog owned by a NGO known as Solidariti Masyarakat Sabah (SMS) alleged that Jeffrey had made the statement during an interview which was done in February this year.
Jeffrey however said during the interview between him and the writer, SMS pro-tem president Musli Oli, he was only asked about the general security aspect of Sabah.
"I have never used the word 'kongsi' (share) during the short interview. I can even produce a witness who was with us in my office when the interview was done.
"This is an attempt to discredit my reputation and as we all know, our struggle for self-determination in Sabah is being hotly debated right now and the article aimed to threaten our supporters that this fight is dangerous if not futile," he said.
Jeffrey, who is also Bingkor Assemblyman, added that Musli only asked him about his thoughts on the Tanduo incident and how the situation should have been handled.
"The question of sharing Sabah with the Sulu Sultanate was never raised. If it had, I wouldn't have agreed," he said.
The article went viral on social media on Sunday and being shared even on the Sabah Sarawak Keluar Malaysia (SSKM) facebook page, generating hundreds of comments from both sides of the political divide.
The article quoted Jeffrey to have said that Sabah is a rich State and has enough resources to solve any problem.
Jeffrey was also quoted to have said 'We could negotiate with them without the use of force. If we had negotiated nicely and the situation could be handled wisely, such incident in Lahad Datu would not have happened.'
"Look at the supposed question where the word 'kongsi' was used and read my reply properly. Did I answer the question? Is there any connection? No! Because the question was about security and intrusion as well as the Sulu claim," he said.
Jeffrey continued that while he is not sure what Musli's motive in twisting such story, he suspected that it was an attempt to divert the people's attention from the issues at hand which is the people's demand for justice, rights and power.
"Nevertheless, I will be taking legal action against Musli and will make a police report soon because this is defamation and he must retract his statement," he said.
Meanwhile, in a reply to Jeffrey's comment on facebook, Musli said that Jeffrey did not deny the statement and it is up to the public how they perceived the matter.

223. lawless Malaya

Is “Malaysia” a lawful or lawless nation ?  It has been tilted to the “lawlessness” since 1963.  With that we have seen so much lopsidedness in most aspects of life to the detriment of a young nation of 50 years.

How many RCI was done by the Federal Government in Sabah in 50 years?  Yet only one RCI with its report still missing for almost a year.  Who do we blame?

We cannot talk about Secession, but some people can withhold the Report on RCI on illegal immigrants Sabah.

I think there must be many other investigation reports of great public interest not done properly and also not made public.

I think the most glaring investigation report has yet to be released was on the “bombed” plane in 1976 over Sembulan. Those official photographs showing the very twisted parts of the planes on the shallow water did confirm the “bomb” in the plane.  If it had fallen in the deeper water, all would have been concealed like the MH370 assumed fallen in very deep Indian Ocean.

What kind of “independence” we have got if important reports are also hidden away from the concerned public?

222. MH370 & MH0017 in deep shit yet RCI still missing

withholding the Report on RCI IIS is crime against humanity as Project IC in the issues of millions of dubious identity cards is the root cause of Ethnic Cleansing and Apartheid in Sabah, and the RCI would have the solution for the crimes of treasons.

Who want to expect what is the next big trouble for Malaysia?

The promised completed Report on RCI IIS is still missing!!!! why???why???

Sabah's locals 'immigrants' in their own land

Local Sabahan Bajau Encik Zaidi Atoh and other residents who are living in Kampung Likas, 10 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu, said they felt like "immigrants in their own land".

Even the Muslim residents said they feared for their children's safety when these foreigners move into their villages turning the area as a hub for drug trafficking and smuggling.

At Kampung Air, a shopping area located in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, a local taxi driver told that their earnings are affected when these Filipino and Indonesian drivers appeared in the area.

In Keningau, two hours traveling distance, the locals have to compete with these foreign migrants for business spaces/slots.

According to local activists, this is the result of Project IC, identity cards given to illegal immigrants through illegal means thus making Sabah crowded with migrants. A testimony from last year's Lahad Datu intrusion of which many of the 'foreign militants or intruders' held Mykad.

The project started by Umno as a dirty election tactic aimed at changing the demographics of Sabah increasing the muslim illegal immigrants to the population level of 38%.

Foreigners with MyKad are now competing with locals for business licenses and permits. Locals also expressed their displeasure when these foreigners are willing to bribe the authorities.

Local activist Jalumin Bayogoh said if the issue was not addressed seriously, the tension could turn into violence.

Genuine IC, false citizenship

The Royal Commission of Inquiry findings revealed that Project IC took place in the 1980s and 1990s during its hearing held in January 2013.

Witnesses who were called during the inquiry mentioned top politicians and civil servants involved during the era of the reign of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Identity cards are simply given to Muslim immigrants, mostly from the Philippines and Indonesia without going through legal channels to gain citizenship.

Dr Mahathir in his testimony held that citizenship granted to Filipino immigrants in Sabah were done legally.

A book published by Sabah Reform Party (STAR), "Borneo Agenda" claims of about 300,000 foreigners received identification cards.

"Now, they may consist of millions of immigrants who obtained Malaysian citizenship through the back door," said the author of the book, Neston Joannes.

He quoted former Sandakan, Asainar MP Ebrahim @ Hassnar who admitted participating in the project IC.

Nestor wrote that the project caused Sabah's population increase to 302% between 1970 and 2000. In comparison, Sarawak has a population of more than Sabah in 1970 recorded an increase of 106% of the population in the same period.

He said, foreigners are given identity cards so they could vote in the election.

"To strengthen the dominance of Umno in Sabah, they use foreigners with given ICs to be supporters of the party."

Jobs and neighborhoods invaded

Chong, a taxi driver for 12 years witnessed how the car rental industry in Kota Kinabalu slowly taken over by Indonesian immigrants.

"Now all airport taxi driven and managed by the Bugis. Many of those waiting at hotels and shopping centres," he said.

In fact these immgrants even have permits and their names appear on the cab door, said Chong and two other drivers and Sapri Ahmad who told The Malaysian Insider.

Ahmad said that to get a taxi permit, a person must have an IC, driving license and at least $15,000 in savings in the bank. They said foreigners may be willing to use the "back door" to obtain a permit. While the locals refused to pay bribes to obtain the license.

In addition to the loss of jobs and businesses are concerned, the people of Sabah also felt immigrants seize everything at their disposal.

Zaidi, who was head of security and the development of Kampung Likas (JKKK) said local residents are not comfortable with the placement of foreigners who build their bases for smuggling along the river near their village.

He said, the river became the centre for smuggling cooking oil, cigarettes and drugs because it was used as the exit or entry point into Sabah.

"They are aggressive and breaking laws and can easily escape by boat back to to their hometowns if the police are on their heels.

"In the village there are also fights using weapons such as machetes and swords involving immigrants and their enemies. However, there are no reports of local people involved in such incidents. But we live in fear every day. My friend said as if we are 'immigrants' even though in our own country."

A Malaysia problem

Local activists believe 64,000 Filipinos with refugee status in the 1970s, were granted citizenship.

Jalumin from Borneo Heritage Foundation, said these refugees should be given special passes that allow their residents to find work and send their children to school.

"But it does not give them the right to vote. When their children go to school, we can teach them respect and be loyal to the country. "

Sabah BN leader Jahid Jahim said what was more disturbing for the people in the state were foreigners who were loyal to the militants/terrorists outside Malaysia.

This was even more disturbing when they are ready to kill Malaysians when receiving instructions from their group.

Jahim said initially, the government must re-register each person in Sabah and give the new IC.

This will help isolate the Malaysians and migrants. He is echoing SAPP's inaugural call/proposal for Sabah IC in their manifesto to solve the illegal immigrants issue.

"This problem is not just a matter of Malaysia Sabah," he said, which is also the Sabah United Party information chief.
